Episode 17: Sitting on the Homeschool Fence
Taking the leap into homeschooling might feel overwhelming - it certainly did for us. So, we are here to reassure families who are umming and ahhing that homeschooling is all about flexibility, there is nothing to loose in giving it a go!
If transitioning from mainstreaming to homeschooling is feeling tricky, this little episode will hopefully help ease those concerns. We share our experiences of leaving the school system, explain what the requirements are to begin this process and why we have never looked back.
Be kind to yourself! It will take time to connect, learn and unlearn with your child as you move into a homeschooling approach that aligns with your family.
